On Saturday, December 27, 2025 , the Stockton Kings dedicated their NBA G-League Heroes Night to celebrating those who go above and beyond for their communities. This year, it was our distinct honor to see San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Deputy Cody Grant receive this well-deserved recognition. Deputy Grant’s commitment to public safety spans over a decade. Before joining the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office seven years ago, he served four years with the CDCR at Jamestown.
