Meet Our Board

Kristen Millard, President & Founder

Kristen Millard

LODI, CA - My name is Kristen Millard and I am the Founder of Blue Angel of Hope. I previously served as Vice-President of the nonprofit, CHAMPGALT (Community Heroes Appreciation Memorial Project) honoring Galt, California's Fallen K-9 Officer, Kevin Tonn. Officer Tonn was murdered in the line of duty on 1/15/13. I had never met Officer Tonn personally, but when I heard of his passing, it struck me hard and square in the heart. It was then that I knew I wanted to do something to pay it forward and after serving 2 years with dedicated monthly fundraisers in order to raise funds to build his Memorial, CHAMP was no longer needing to hold fundraisers. During my down time I came across the Thin Blue Line Flags and started gifting them to families of the Fallen & catastrophically injured Officers. Before I knew it, 850 flags had been purchased & gifted Nationwide to 35 states plus Canada, Denmark & Germany. The rest is history!
